HOPE Community of Shalom exists to make our community a better place.
We exist to foster the development of a healthy community in body, mind, and spirit.
HOPE Community of Shalom is a multicultural coalition focused on the Heart of Lubbock that builds on the assets of the community and seeks to empower the people of the community.
Our ministries are primarily
targeted with people who live within walking distance of the building at
2005 Ave. T in Lubbock, TX. Our
Fellowship Ministries may focus on the same community, but often focus on a
wider community.
HOPE Community of Shalom was developed and is established
within the framework of the United Methodist Church General Board of Global
Ministries Shalom Communities movement, having been nurtured and supported
to grow using the Threads of Shalom.
